A pain relieving revelation
At almost $300, why would anyone buy this as a mouse? The answer is simple; it relieves pain caused by the reaching most mice force you to do. Over the years, in our consulting practice I have found that mousing is the single biggest source of discomfort for most people. Your arm is extended for long periods of time, rotating your torso somewhat and rounding your shoulder. Many individuals experience tingling or numbness in their hands and wrists, also associated with the mouse they use. We carry several excellent mice that can help address some of these issues. The new RollerMouse Red, like the Mousetrapper, addresses all of them. These devices replace a traditional mouse and, by placing the cursor control directly in front of the keyboard, allow the user to mouse ambidextrously and with minimal reaching. Hand positioning is improved as well. The cursor is moved front to back and side to side by rolling the rubber coated bar. Clicking can be done with the bar or the buttons. There is a scroll bar as well. The sides of the RollerMouse act as a palm support, positioning your hands for proper keyboarding, and the units ship with optional-use rubber feet that raise the keyboard to a comfortable height. We highly endorse these devices and have used them at our desks for many years. The Red is the 4th generation of this product line and certainly the nicest. It's upgraded laser tracking now has fine enough control for use with AutoCAD, so I am confident that you will be pleased. Most people get used to making the switch to RollerMouse within a day.
