This really can be a game-changing device for some of you. Because if you are using a Kinesis keyboard, you know how much more comfortable it is than a standard one. Now Kinesis has added new technology to the Freestyle2 called Multichannel™ technology, which allows instant switching between the keyboard and up to 3 separate Bluetooth enabled devices.
• Instantly switch between 3 different Bluetooth devices
• Keyboard can be angled or separated
• Maximizes comfort and productivity
Features - Freestyle2 Blue for Mac Multichannel Bluetooth Keyboard
No more sacrificing typing comfort on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Just hit a key to instantly switch between your favorite three Bluetooth enabled devices while continuing to type on the FS2 Blue keyboard.
Sleek, low profile design
Most keyboards including ergonomic models have a 10 degree positive slope from front to back. These designs tend to bend your wrists. The Freestyle2 has a zero degree slope which minimizes the height, effectively creating negative slope and reducing wrist extension. The slim design provides you a 2-in-1 office and travel keyboard.
Accommodates a wide range of individuals
From small to tall and body types in between, the Freestyle2 allows for maximum flexibility catering to each individual’s unique needs. Out of the box both modules are connected together by a flexible pivot tether allowing an infinite range of splay. Disconnecting the pivot tether allows up to 9 inches of complete separation between the left and right keying modules. Our experience is that heavy set individuals really appreciate this feature, because it allows you to extend your hands to the keyboard without having to roll your shoulders inward to reach the keyboard. Medically, this design greatly reduces and or/eliminates ulnar deviation. It's great for your back as well, since rolled shoulders make it hard to maintain healthy back postures.
Optional palm supports
Optional padded palm supports reduce wrist extension by keeping wrists neutral.
Left side driverless hot keys & Bluetooth Multichannel keys
Driverless hot keys for commonly used mouse actions. (Internet Page Forward and Back, Beginning of Line, End of Line,Cut, Undo, Copy, Select All and Paste). A vertical rib is located on the inside row of hot keys to provide tactile notification to the user.
Top row driverless hot keys
Like the new iMac keyboards plus more! Esc/force quit, Brightness, Exposé, Dashboard, Play Audio, Audio Volume, Dock, Eject & Off/Sleep.
Familiar key layout
Familiar key layout provides for minimal adaptation time.
Low-force, tactile key switches
The Freestyle2 utilizes a quiet, low-force, tactile membrane key switch. The typical average maximum key force of a switch is 45 grams. This is at least 25% less than most traditional and many ergonomic keyboards such as the Microsoft 4000 with maximum key forces of over 60 grams.
Reduce forearm tension with the optional VIP3 and V3 accessories
The VIP3 and V3 accessories attach easily to the base of the Freestyle2 keyboard allowing quick and reproducible tent settings of 5, 10 and 15 degrees greatly reducing forearm tension. For people who want integrated palm supports we suggest they purchase the VIP3, and for people who prefer tenting without palm supports we suggest they purchase the V3.

Note: All accessories for the Freestyle2 are also compatible with the V1 Freestyle, with the exception of the VIP3 accessory.
V3 Accessory Kit
The Kinesis V3 Accessory Kit allows users to tent the Freestyle2 keyboard at 5, 10 or 15 degrees without requiring palm rests like the VIP3 kit. The V3 can be used with or without the tether on your keyboard.
VIP3 Accessory Option
The Kinesis VIP3 Accessory Kit easily attaches to your Freestyle2 keyboard and allows for fast and easy slope settings of 5, 10 or 15 degrees. VIP3 kit features include:
• Left and right V-lifters which define the slope of the keyboard
• Integrated palm supports
• Maximum flexibility with the pivot/tether, allowing the user user adjust both the splay and the distance between keyboard halves
• A stable platform with no bounce
Ascent Multi-Tent Accessory Option
For the ultimate in angle flexibility, we recommend the Kinesis Ascent Multi-Tent Accessory which allows users to select any angle between 20 and 90 degrees. You can even type in a completely vertical position, eliminating all twisting of the forearms and pronation of the wrists. The Ascent features include:
• Both of the two multi-angle tenting modules attach to each side of the keyboard
• Each module is independently adjustable and can be set to different angles
• Ascent includes a linking plate which may be used to connect the modules
• Left-right separation is limited only by the keyboard's linking cable
• Accessory works with the standard Freestyle2, but is recommended for the Freestyle2 Extended keyboard
• Black color
