The Scissor Lift Platform serves as a great Sit/Stand, height adjustable surface for keyboard and mouse use. At its lowest position, its surface sets at ¾“ above the desktop. The surface then adjusts from 4¼“ up to 9¼“ above the desktop in 1” increments. The Scissor Lift Platform is available in three sizes, 21”, 24” and 27” wide by 12” deep, and has a field-replaceable 3” deep, full width leatherette palm support. The base is a polished steel plate with punch outs for screw guide holes in case you want to secure it in place. The Scissor Lift Platform is solid and durable.
Best Uses
This is a great solution for sit to stand applications where the user is working on the desktop, or for use at multi-user standing jobs like clinics, pharmacies, tellers, airline check-in etc. In most applications, it should be used in conjunction with a height adjustable monitor arm. This is best for users that are not comfortable working at desk height full time for seated computer use, but do not need the keyboard and mouse to be lower than the desk height while seated. It does not cover the height range that everyone needs, so you must measure whether it will work for you. In order to know if the Scissor Lift Platform will go high enough for you, stand up, put your hands out at a comfortable typing posture and then measure from your hand to the surface the Scissor Lift Platform will sit on. If this is within 9.25″, then this will be a good solution for you. Be sure, too, that you will be comfortable with the keyboard sitting higher than your worksurface while seated, or plan to remove the unit and store it while seated. We know that this may seem like an expensive product for what it is, but the quality is there. You won’t be disappointed.
