What’s Coming in 2018 at Applied Ergonomics

Happy New Year to all, and here’s to a good year ahead. 2018 promises to be very good for Applied Ergonomics, and I hope that we will be able to contribute to your success as well. It’s been a long time since I have written consistently for our blog, and one of my resolutions for the year is to take this back up. In part I’ll be promoting, of course, but more importantly the blog will be a treasure trove of useful information and insight. And when we do promote it will either be to highlight a client project that may give you ideas or to highlight a product or service that has real value for our clients.

Early in 2018, we’ll be opening our showroom. At the end of 2016 we moved our offices into a new space in Skokie, IL, and for the first time we have our own dedicated warehouse. We’re splitting that space now so that half of it will be a showroom featuring a broad selection of furniture: the best selection of ergonomic seating in the Chicago area, our ErgoAdvantage height-adjustable desks and desktop sit-stand converters, monitor arms and other types of ergonomic accessories, as well as small vignettes of panel systems and desks from Artopex and Tayco.

Also coming early in 2018 will be our new website design. We’ve been working for many months to create a new simpler site that is easier to navigate. If you have any suggestions, it’s not too late to share them! In another first, we’ll be highlighting client projects on the site to give you a sense of what we can accomplish for your organization, whether small or large.

So please make our blog a frequent stop in 2018… I promise it will be worthwhile.
