Like the MVMT Pro, the Tech C5 Series was created for ultra-critical environments including static-sensitive, particle-free and microbe-controlled areas such as medical device manufacturing, genetic research, pharmaceutical processing and similar facilities.
Cast aluminum arm upright with arm adjustment mechanism and 3.5″ wide x 9″ long x 7/8″ thick urethane arm pad. Arm pad can be adjusted in three dimensions: 3.5″ vertically, 2″ front-to-back, and 1″ left-to-right for a total armrest width adjustment of 2″.

Backrest height adjustment feature allows for adjustment up or down 3″, quickly and securely (without the use of a noisy ratchet mechanism). Back measures 17.5″ wide by 15″ for medium back and 19.5″ for tall back with 3/8″ thick (5-ply) back board and 1.5″ foam thickness. 4 mm (5/32″) thick polypropylene back panel with edge guard.

HG – High Glides
Resistance Caster – Two inches in height, with dual soft-wheels. Casters resist movement when the seat is unoccupied. Plastic collar around caster stem to match base. Standard casters have grey tread.
High Glides – 2.25″ high black glides have a base diameter of 2.125″ and are made of first class polyamide with a steel grip ring stem. ESD version is indicated by a yellow ring around the stem of the glide.

Large and Medium, five-legged, solid cast aluminum base with caster-to-caster diameter of 28.7″ and maximum width of 27.4″ for large, and 25.6″ and maximum width of 24.4″ for medium. T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50-mm tapered hub (1° 26′ 16″ (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113 mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of UNI EN 46100 aluminum with a robotically polished top surface to ensure quality and consistency.
Glass Reinforced, Five-legged composite base with caster-to-caster diameter of 25.6″ and maximum width of 24.4″. T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50 mm, steel-reinforced, tapered hub (1° 26′ 16″ (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113 mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of glass-filled nylon. Available only on low-height models.

AFP – Adjustable Footring
22″ dia. aluminum foot ring includes easy-to-operate hub – push down top of center bushing, adjust to desired height, and release to lock the foot ring into place. 22″ flattened tubing ring is attached to the cast aluminum spokes with stainless steel screws, which utilize a T-cross section to provide a clean, cohesive look with any MVMT base option.

BioFit’s 13 Year Warranty on Seating, Tables and Multipurpose Carts
BioFit’s furniture products are warranted to the original purchaser against mechanical or structural failure due to defective material or workmanship for 13 years of normal, multi-shift use. Pneumatic cylinders are covered for the functional lifetime of the chair or stool.
BioFit reserves the right to recondition or replace any units covered by this warranty. Freight, loss of use and any other consequential damages are not covered. All return shipments require written authorization and must be freight prepaid unless otherwise approved in writing. COM (Customer’s Own Material) upholstery materials are not covered.
BioFit takes its warranty, repair and maintenance responsibilities very seriously.
Efforts by unqualified personnel to perform repairs on BioFit products can result in dangerous conditions which can lead to serious bodily injury. Any attempt to modify, alter or make unauthorized repairs to BioFit products may not only seriously jeopardize the safety of the user, but will void this warranty in every respect.
