A pain relieving revelation
At almost $300, why would anyone buy this as a mouse? Â The answer is simple; it relieves pain caused by the reaching most mice force you to do. Â Over the years, in our consulting practice I have found that mousing is the single biggest source of discomfort for most people. Â Your arm is extended for long periods of time, rotating your torso somewhat and rounding your shoulder. Â Many individuals experience tingling or numbness in their hands and wrists, also associated with the mouse they use. Â We carry several excellent mice that can help address some of these issues. The new RollerMouse Red, like the Mousetrapper, addresses all of them. These devices replace a traditional mouse and, by placing the cursor control directly in front of the keyboard, allow the user to mouse ambidextrously and with minimal reaching. Â Hand positioning is improved as well. The cursor is moved front to back and side to side by rolling the rubber coated bar. Â Clicking can be done with the bar or the buttons. Â There is a scroll bar as well. Â The sides of the RollerMouse act as a palm support, positioning your hands for proper keyboarding, and the units ship with optional-use rubber feet that raise the keyboard to a comfortable height. Â We highly endorse these devices and have used them at our desks for many years. Â The Red is the 4th generation of this product line and certainly the nicest. Â It’s upgraded laser tracking now has fine enough control for use with AutoCAD, so I am confident that you will be pleased. Â Most people get used to making the switch to RollerMouse within a day.
