The HÃ…G Capisco 8106 is the classic bestseller model. The saddle seat can be adjusted between low and high working positions, all the way up to a standing position, enabling you to be more dynamic in your movements while still sitting in a balanced position.
The HAG Capisco is all about getting great support with a very open hip angle and a terrific curve in your spine. The Capisco is made to let you move, and no chair lets you stretch out better than this. We have fitted a lot of different body types and sizes in this chair over the years with great results. The Hag Capisco sits higher than most chairs and can become virtual standing support. The saddle seat allows your legs to angle downward, and the base has built-in footrests.
For normal height sitting, though, it is best to create a three-point stance with your feet firmly on the floor. Adjustments include seat depth and back height, plus an angle lock. The gas lift comes in three different height ranges. We recommend the optional 265 mm lift if you want to work with a desk in a high position. Some people choose to sit backward in the Capisco, leaning into the backrest. This is ideal for those who prefer to lean into their computer or for those doing fine motor skill work. Jewelers, dentists, and ultrasound technicians are among the jobs most often thought of to benefit from this.
Our advice is to use the chair in both directions, and when leaning into it, to be sure to drop the backrest height down to your thighs in order to keep the armrests from getting in your way.
